Turner notched 21 points (7-13 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 5-6 FT), 10 rebounds, one assist and three blocks over 35 minutes during Friday's 111-106 victory over the Knicks in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals. Turner made his presence felt on both ends of the court Friday, tying his playoff-high mark in blocks while recording his first double-double of the current playoff run. The Pacers need Turner to continue making a two-way impact if they're going to turn things around in the series, especially considering how depleted the Knicks are in the frontcourt with Julius Randle (shoulder), Mitchell Robinson (ankle) and OG Anunoby (hamstring) all out for Game 4.... Pacers' Myles Turner: Leading scorer in Game 1 defeat
Turner tallied 23 points (8-16 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 5-6 FT), three assists, two rebounds, one block and one steal over 35 minutes in Monday's 121-117 loss to New York in Game 1 of the second round of the Eastern Conference playoffs. Turner did all he could to help Indiana to a road victory in Game 1 against New York, leading the club in scoring to go along with a team-high-tying pair of threes while ending as the lone Pacer with 20 or more points in the losing effort. Turner bounced back well after a pair of low-scoring outings in the final two games of the first-round series, posting his fourth game of the postseason with at least 20 points. Indiana will hope for a similar performance from Turner offensively in Game 2, and he may need to improve his presence on the glass to help the Pacers own the battle on the boards.... See More ... Pacers' Myles Turner: Leads from deep in balanced Game 4
Turner posted 29 points (10-17 FG, 7-9 3Pt, 2-6 FT), nine rebounds, four assists and three blocks over 38 minutes in Sunday's 126-113 win over the Bucks in Game 4 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs. Turner continued his strong performance in the series against Milwaukee, taking advantage of the absence of Giannis Antetokounmpo (calf) by putting together another well-rounded outing to help Indiana to a commanding 3-1 series lead. Turner led all players in Sunday's contest in threes made while leading the Pacers in scoring, rebounds and blocks in a near double-double showing. Turner has been dominant all series, posting at least 20 points and seven rebounds in three of his four postseason outings.... See More ... See Less -
Pacers' Myles Turner: Nears double-double as top scorer
Turner notched 29 points (10-21 FG, 4-10 3Pt, 5-6 FT), nine rebounds, one assist and one steal over 41 minutes in Friday's 121-118 overtime win over Milwaukee in Game 3 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs. Turner led all Indiana players in scoring and shots made from deep while ending one rebound shy of a double-double to boost the Pacers to a thrilling overtime victory to take a series lead against the Bucks. Turner has posted at least 15 points and seven rebounds in all three first-round games, connecting on three or more threes in every outing so far in the series.... See More ... See Less -
Pacers' Myles Turner: Posts 22/7/6 line in victory
Turner produced 22 points (9-15 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 1-1 FT), seven rebounds, six assists and three blocks in 34 minutes during Tuesday's 125-108 victory over the Bucks in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals. Turner's value for the Pacers can't be understated, as the veteran consistently provides solid interior support. Interestingly, his exposure in fantasy contests is very low, making him one of the most underrated centers in the playoff bracket. Although players like Jalen Smith and Isaiah Jackson challenged Turner for playing time in the regular season, neither of the backups saw any playing time in Indiana's Game 2 win.... See More ... Pacers' Myles Turner: Perfect from line in 20-10 outing
Turner notched 22 points (6-12 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 8-8 FT), 13 rebounds, two assists and two blocks over 37 minutes in Sunday's 117-115 win over Miami. Turner led all players in Sunday's contest in rebounds while shooting a perfect mark from the free-throw line and posting a team-high-tying scoring total in the lone double-double outing for the Pacers. Turner connected on eight or more free throws for the second time this season while tying a season-high mark in rebounds in the win. He has now recorded at least 20 points and 10 rebounds in six contests this year.... See More ... See Less -
Pacers' Myles Turner: Efficient night in return Friday
Turner racked up 16 points (6-11 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three rebounds, one block and one steal over 18 minutes during Friday's 126-112 win over the Thunder. Turner returned to the Pacers' lineup Friday after missing Wednesday's game against the Nets due to a right finger sprain. He played just 16 minutes Friday, but he should see more action over the last four games of the regular season with the Pacers battling to avoid placement in the NBA Play-In Tournament. Since the All-Star break, Turner is averaging 15.9 points on 50.2 percent shooting (including 39.6 percent from three), 6.6 rebounds, 1.0 assists and 2.1 blocks over 25.9 minutes per game.... Pacers' Myles Turner: Expected to play Friday
Coach Rick Carlisle said Turner, who's officially listed as questionable due to a finger injury, is expected to play Friday against the Thunder, Tony East of SI.com reports. Turner missed Wednesday's loss in Brooklyn due to the right finger sprain he suffered in the game prior, but he's on track to return Friday. In March (19 games), Turner averaged 16.2 points, 6.8 rebounds, 2.1 blocks and 1.2 assists in 26.9 minutes per game.... See More ... See Less -
Pacers' Myles Turner: Iffy against Thunder
Turner (finger) is listed as questionable for Friday's game versus Oklahoma City. Turner is in danger of missing his second straight contest Friday due to a sprained finger. If Turner is ruled out against the Thunder, Jalen Smith will likely draw another start.... See More ... See Less -
Pacers' Myles Turner: Won't play Wednesday
Turner (finger) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game in Brooklyn, Jeremiah Johnson of Bally Sports Indiana reports. Turner will miss Wednesday's game after spraining his right second finger in Monday's win over Brooklyn. His absence should open up a spot on the top unit for Jalen Smith, who started the second half of Monday's game following Turner's departure. Isaiah Jackson should also gain a foothold in the rotation as Smith's primary backup. Turner's next chance to play will come Friday against the Thunder.... See More ... See Less -
Pacers' Myles Turner: Questionable for Wednesday
Turner (finger) is questionable for Wednesday's game against the Nets. Turner suffered a finger injury during Monday's win over the Nets, and despite X-rays coming back negative, the big man went to see a hand specialist Tuesday. It appears that meeting went okay, as Turner has a chance to suit up Wednesday, but if the Pacers' starting center has to miss time, Jalen Smith and Isaiah Jackson would be the primary beneficiaries.... Pacers' Myles Turner: Visiting hand specialist
Pacers head coach Rick Carlisle said Turner (finger) is scheduled to visit a hand specialist Tuesday before his status for Wednesday's game in Brooklyn is determined, Andy Sweeney of 107.5 The Fan Indianapolis reports. Though X-rays on the finger Turner injured in Monday's 133-111 win over the Nets returned negative and he's been diagnosed with a sprain, Carlisle noted Tuesday that the center's ability to play moving forward will depend on "pain tolerance." Given that the injury is to Turner's shooting hand, he may be more likely than not to miss some time, though the Pacers will wait for feedback from the hand specialist before determining his next steps. If Turner is sidelined for Wednesday's contest or additional games to follow, Jalen Smith and Isaiah Jackson would likely cover most of the minutes at center, with rookie Jarace Walker potentially factoring into the frontcourt mix as well.... Pacers' Myles Turner: Exits Monday with sprained finger
Turner won't return to Monday's game against the Nets due to a sprained right finger. Turner exited the game briefly in the first half and eventually returned to action, but he won't be back for the second half of Monday's contest. The big man ends Monday's game with nine points (3-5 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 1-2 FT), six rebounds, five blocks and one steal across 14 minutes. The Pacers will turn to Jalen Smith and Isaiah Jackson to cover his minutes at center for the rest of Monday's game, and until the team provides an update on Turner's condition, he'll be viewed as questionable for Wednesday's rematch with the Nets in Brooklyn.... Pacers' Myles Turner: Puts up 24 points in victory
Turner closed Monday's 133-116 win over the Clippers with 24 points (8-12 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 4-6 FT), seven rebounds and one block over 26 minutes. Turner finished as Indiana's second-leading scorer in the victory, trailing only Pascal Siakam (31 points). It was the second straight game of at least 20 points for Turner following a four-game stretch during which he averaged a modest 10.8 points. The big man has swatted at least one shot in five straight contests and ranks ninth in the NBA with 1.8 blocks per game on the campaign.... See More ... See Less -
Pacers' Myles Turner: Scores 14, swats five shots
Turner finished Friday's 123-111 victory over the Warriors with 14 points (5-15 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 3-4 FT), 10 rebounds and five blocks across 27 minutes. Turner struggled badly from the field, as he had to deal with tight defense from Draymond Green all game long, but he made the Warriors pay at the other end with his five blocks, finishing just one shy of tying his season-best mark in that category. Turner is averaging 15.1 points, 6.3 rebounds and 2.5 blocks per game since the beginning of March and is proving to be a reliable asset on both ends of the court for Indiana.... See More ... Pacers' Myles Turner: Leads Indy in scoring vs. Chicago
Turner finished with 27 points (9-15 FG, 5-8 3Pt, 4-6 FT), seven rebounds, one assist and one block over 34 minutes during Wednesday's 132-129 overtime loss to the Bulls. Turner led the Pacers in scoring for the second game in a row, and his five three-point makes were his most since Jan. 19 when he went 6-for-10 from beyond the arc. Turner has shot 50 percent or better in four of his last five games and has scored 20-plus points in three of his last five appearances.... See More ... See Less -
Pacers' Myles Turner: Drops team-high 24 on OKC
Turner had 24 points (11-17 FG, 2-3 3Pt), three rebounds, four assists, four blocks and one steal over 30 minutes during Tuesday's 121-111 win over the Thunder. The 27-year-old center led the Pacers in scoring in the impressive road win. Turner has been a beast at the rim of late, racking up at least four rejections in three straight games, and in 10 games since the All-Star break, he's averaging 17.2 points, 7.7 boards, 2.4 blocks, 1.3 threes and 1.0 assists as Indiana pushes to secure a playoff spot and avoid the Play-In Tournament.... Pacers' Myles Turner: Blocks four shots in loss
Turner provided 12 points (4-8 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 3-5 FT), seven rebounds, one assist and four blocks in 21 minutes during Thursday's 113-111 loss to Minnesota. Turner blocked his most shots since Jan. 19 and extended his double-digit scoring streak to 13 games. During that stretch, the talented big man has averaged 17.9 points, 7.6 rebounds, 1.5 blocks and 1.2 assists in 26.8 minutes per game. The addition of Pascal Siakam hasn't significantly impacted Turner's overall production, but the latter is on pace to average below 2.0 blocks per game for the first time since 2017-18.... Pacers' Myles Turner: Delivers double-double Wednesday
Turner produced 14 points (5-11 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 4-4 FT), 10 rebounds, two blocks and one steal across 27 minutes during Wednesday's 123-114 win over the Pelicans. The 27-year-old center produced his third double-double in the last four games and 12th of the season. Turner has found another gear in February, and over his last nine contests he's averaging 19.2 points, 8.1 boards, 1.4 assists, 1.2 blocks, 1.2 threes and 0.9 steals while shooting 57.9 percent from the floor.... Pacers' Myles Turner: Scores season-high 33 points Sunday
Turner ended Sunday's 133-111 win over the Mavericks with 33 points (10-15 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 11-12 FT), eight rebounds and one assist over 30 minutes. Turner delivered his best scoring performance of the season, and outside of ending just two boards shy of a double-double, he was very efficient, making all of his attempts from inside the three-point line while recording his first 30-point effort since Feb. 23, 2023. The star big man has transitioned into a secondary role on offense following the arrival of Pascal Siakam, but Turner has proven he can carry the team on offense when called upon.... See More ...
