  • Panthers' Carter Verhaeghe: Extends point streak

    Verhaeghe scored his ninth goal of the postseason in Tuesday's 3-2 overtime win versus New York in Game 4.

    Verhaeghe extended his point streak to five games after potting a goal on the power play in Tuesday's win. The 28-year-old also fired four shots on net in 20:04 of ice time. Verhaeghe is up to six points in this series after notching just two points in Florida's second-round series versus Boston. In 15 postseason appearances to this point, Verhaeghe leads the team in goals with nine and is tied for second on the team in points with 17.

  • Panthers' Aleksander Barkov: Sets up game-winner

    Barkov registered two power-play assists in Tuesday's 3-2 overtime win over the Rangers in Game 4.

    After being held off the scoresheet in four consecutive contests prior to Game 3, Barkov now has multiple points in each of his last two games. He had a secondary assist on Carter Verhaeghe's power-play tally in the second period before setting up Sam Reinhart for the game-winning goal in overtime. Barkov also had four shots, three hits and an even plus-minus rating in 22:04 of ice time Tuesday night. The 28-year-old center is tied for second on the team in points so far during the postseason with six goals and 11 assists in 15 contests.

    Panthers' Sam Reinhart: Propels Panthers in thriller

    Reinhart scored the game-winning goal in overtime in Tuesday's 3-2 win over New York in Game 4 of the series.

    Reinhart was the hero in South Florida on Tuesday night -- he buried a feed from Aleksander Barkov to send the series back to New York tied at two games apiece. It was Reinhart's fourth power-play goal of the postseason, three of which have come in the last two games. Reinhart has eight goals so far during the postseason which trails only Carter Verhaeghe (nine) for Florida. Reinhart is also tied for the team lead in power-play goals with four. The 28-year-old is fourth on the team in points during the postseason with eight goals and four assists in 15 appearances.

    Oilers' Connor Brown: Chips in assist

    Brown recorded an assist in Monday's 5-3 loss to the Stars in Game 3.

    Brown has a goal and an assist over the last two games, his first time getting on the scoresheet in consecutive contests in all of 2023-24. The veteran winger is up to three points, six shots on net, five hits, four blocked shots and a plus-3 rating through nine playoff outings. Brown's recently solid play has helped him maintain a spot in the lineup over Corey Perry.

  • Oilers' Adam Henrique: Scores in return

    Henrique scored a goal and added four hits in Monday's 5-3 loss to the Stars in Game 3.

    Henrique missed seven games with an ankle injury and returned to a third-line role, playing 13:41 in this contest. He scored a goal late in the second period to tie the game at 3-3, but the Oilers' offense stopped there. Henrique has three points, five shots on net, 26 hits and an even plus-minus rating through seven playoff appearances. He's played in a variety of spots in the Oilers' lineup -- if the team continues to struggle, he may be moved from third-line center to a top-six spot on the wing.

    Oilers' Zach Hyman: Knocks in goal

    Hyman scored a goal on seven shots, blocked two shots and added two PIM in Monday's 5-3 loss to the Stars in Game 3.

    Connor McDavid took a shot that banked in off Hyman's body at 2:02 of the first period. With four goals and an assist over his last five games, Hyman's offense is humming along at a fine pace. He's up to 13 tallies, 16 points, 63 shots on net, 34 hits and a plus-7 rating through 15 playoff contests while filling a top-line role.

  • Oilers' Connor McDavid: One of each Monday

    McDavid scored a goal on six shots, dished an assist and added three hits in Monday's 5-3 loss to the Stars in Game 3.

    McDavid was pulling the strings in the first period, banking a shot in off Zach Hyman for the opening goal before scoring one of his own. The Stars bounced back in the second, and McDavid had no further involvement in the scoring. The superstar center is up to four goals, 21 assists, 43 shots on net, 32 hits and a plus-5 rating through 15 playoff outings. Two of his tallies have come in the Western Conference Finals.

  • Stars' Logan Stankoven: Contributes assist in win

    Stankoven logged an assist and three blocked shots in Monday's 5-3 win over the Oilers in Game 3.

    Stankoven set up a Wyatt Johnston tally at 9:08 of the second period, which put the Stars ahead 3-2. The helper ended Stankoven's three-game dry spell. The 21-year-old has stepped into a middle-six role and handled himself well, picking up seven points, 27 shots on net, 20 hits, 16 blocked shots and a plus-4 rating over 16 playoff outings. He's got a bright future, but for now Stankoven is filling a supporting role.

    Stars' Tyler Seguin: Provides two helpers in win

    Seguin registered two assists, two shots on goal and a plus-2 rating in Monday's 5-3 win over the Oilers in Game 5.

    Seguin helped out on Jason Robertson's first and third goals of the game. With Roope Hintz (upper body) back in the fold, head coach Pete DeBoer had him centering Robertson and Seguin on a new-look first line -- typically, it's been Joe Pavelski or Wyatt Johnston in that spot instead of Seguin. Through 16 playoff contests, Seguin has been strong with five goals, seven helpers, 51 shots on net, 22 hits and a plus-10 rating.

  • Stars' Wyatt Johnston: Finds twine in Game 3 win

    Johnston scored a goal on three shots and blocked three shots in Monday's 5-3 win over the Oilers in Game 3.

    The goal was Johnston's first in five games, and he was held off the scoresheet in three of his previous four outings. The center's tally gave the Stars a 3-2 lead in the second period. The 21-year-old is up to eight goals, six assists, 51 shots on net, 21 hits, 13 blocked shots and a plus-5 rating over 16 playoff appearances. Johnston's strong play all over the ice has carried over from the regular season as he cements his status as one of the Stars' top forwards.
